To strengthen our team, we are now looking for a geoinformatics specialist (m/f/d) at the Potsdam location.

Your tasks

• Development and operation of sophisticated software solutions in the area of geodata
• Debugging, analyzing, and resolving application software errors
• Automate testing to ensure quality
• Development and support of internal and external interfaces, including in the cloud sector
• Management of database systems (design, user management, migration)
• Support in implementing ETL processes

Our Expectations

• You have a geoinformatics/IT degree or completed vocational training and have at least 3 years of practical professional experience in the field of agile full-stack development (backend)
• Very good knowledge of relational and/or document-based database systems and their spatial extension
• Knowledge of developing REST-based applications and safe use of Python
• Experience with project tools such as Jira, Confluence or Gitlab
• Experience in cloud computing (AWS) is desirable
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
