The job

KRZN provides affiliated municipal, city and district administrations (association users) and other external customers with software solutions for the real estate register.

You will work as an application manager in the “Soil” service area at our location in Kamp-Lintfort.

As part of a team and across teams, you will continuously work on the design, maintenance and development as well as the provision and support of software solutions in the area of real estate cadastre.

The following tasks await you:

  • Implementation, adjustment and integration of real estate register applications with a focus on official real estate cadastral information system (ALKIS)
  • Ongoing support for the productive operation of applications, including problem analysis, resolution and documentation
  • Modelling and implementation of process flows and programs for operating the real estate register in the KRZN IT architecture and for integration into the KRZN geodata infrastructure (GDI)
  • Continuous advice and support for users as well as coordination of cooperation with external service providers
  • Demand-oriented and transparent presentation of processes for different target groups (including through committee and meeting work)

your profile

  • You have completed a bachelor's degree (m/f/d) or graduate engineer (FH) (m/f/d) specializing in geodesy, geoinformatics, geoinformation, surveying or a degree in a comparable engineering or geoscientific-technical field with equivalent qualifications or successfully completed training with several years of relevant professional experience
  • Ideally, you have practical experience in the administration and operation of GIS desktop and GIS web systems, preferably including those that form the basis of the Official Property Cadastral Information System (ALKIS), or the willingness to familiarise yourself with these subject areas
  • Knowledge of Linux operating systems and database systems (such as PostgreSQL) is desirable
  • As a team member, you can always be relied on; bringing in your own initiative, independent work and a sense of responsibility is a matter of course; working in teams and with different people is very important to you
  • Her distinctive communication skills, organizational skills, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills as well as a great interest in innovative developments in the field of geoinformation round off her profile
  • We require very good written and spoken German language skills (at least certificate level C1)
