Tim Erdmann
Tim is a geographer and founded a geodata-based real estate start-up, which was successfully sold to an MDAX group. He worked for several years as a project manager in a geoconsulting company and now works as a freelance web designer and IT expert.
Matthias Sell
Matthias is a geographer and founded a geodata-based real estate start-up, which was successfully sold to an MDAX group. He has several years of professional experience as a geodata manager and consultant in the field of geomarketing and now works as a consultant for geomarketing and GIS experts.
Philipp Bernhard
Philipp is a geographer and has many years of experience in the private sector (consulting, banking, logistics) and in the public sector (think tank, international development & cooperation). He now works as a freelance SEO and content expert.

How GoGeoGo was created
Our co-founder Tim tells us that the idea for GoGeoGo was born on the beach in Rhodes. The first version of GoGeoGo was created that same evening by candlelight and an overloud air conditioning system, which was maintained by a rattling diesel generator.
The central idea was that the geo-industries were not really represented on the large and central job platforms. As a geojob, we define a job that has a clear spatial reference, whether that is an urban planning, environmental engineering, GIS analysis or hydrology job. Many graduates, trainees and specialists in these industries find it difficult to find attractive jobs.

However, the geo-sectors are at the forefront of digitization, urban planning, climate change and the energy revolution — and are therefore particularly affected by the shortage of skilled workers.
Within a few months, the spark of enthusiasm spread to Philipp and the first commercial version went online in August 2023. Since then, we have worked tirelessly to connect private and public employers in the geo-sectors with qualified professionals and bring the best jobs for job seekers to our platform.
