Staff in the Area of Urban Planning/Village Renewal as Urban Planner (m, w, d)

This is a permanent full-time position with a weekly working time of currently 39 hours.

The area of responsibility mainly comprises the following activities:

➢ Independent processing and monitoring of municipal land use planning processes: in particular preparation and amendment of land use plans, development plans, interior statutes in cooperation with external planning offices and municipal building projects

➢ Planning and implementation of formal and informal public participation processes as well as participation by authorities and other public interest bodies in the form of planning information and participationTetrahedron portal

➢ Preparation of public announcements and drafting of statute resolutions for political committees

➢ Coordination and review of technical contributions and expert reports as part of land use planning

➢ Preparation of planning statements on third-party plans, e.g. in the context of land use planning of neighboring municipalities, planning approval procedures, approval procedures under the Federal Immission Control Act, building permit procedures, regional plan amendment procedures

➢ Representation and moderation of planning in political committees and at citizens' meetings

➢ Construction advice to citizens, architects and investors/project developers on planning issues

➢ Supervision of Village Management

Your profile:

➢ Completed university degree with a focus on urban planning/urban planning, architecture with a focus on urban planning, geography or a comparable degree in the field of spatial planning. Professional Skills in the Area of Urban Planning and Planning Law

➢ Profound knowledge of the essential legal foundations of planning law (BauGB, BauNVO, BauO NRW, etc.) as well as urban planning and urban design

➢ Structured, independent and responsible way of working

➢ Confident and Confident Appearance, Negotiation Skills and Communication Skills

➢ Experienced use of common IT programs (in particular Microsoft Office)

➢ Willingness to participate in specialized political committees

➢ High resilience, commitment, ability to work in a team, as well as communication skills when dealing with planning participants

➢ Experience in using the Tetrahedron planning information and participation portal is desirable

➢ It is an advantage to have a class B or class 3 driver's license and the willingness to use the private car for business trips in return for a travel allowance
