We, terrestris, offer IT services and products with open source software. In particular, we focus on the processing and presentation of geospatial data using geoinformation systems (GIS) in many forms. We design, develop and maintain individual and standard software and participate in well-known open source geo projects such as OpenLayers, GeoServer, GeoStyler, MapProxy, react-geo, ShogUN and many more.
Our focus is on web-based GIS solutions, which we develop in a contemporary way and primarily using JavaScript, TypeScript and Java/Python technologies as well as the React and Spring Boot libraries/frameworks for our customers from public administrations and the private sector. Satisfaction, innovation, fairness and free software define us in our company motto; sustainable awareness on an ecological and social level is a matter of course for us.

If you would like to sell our solutions together with us, speak German and English, and have a university degree (or comparable continuing education/practical experience) in geoinformatics/geography/geomatics or if you have a business background, then we would like to get to know you.

We don't expect perfection, but motivation. We give you time to get started and help you build up know-how where it is required. As a sales employee, you can expect the following main tasks:
- Independent and creative work
- Organization of tender processing (search, evaluation, preparation & completion)
- Preparation and implementation of acquisition and consulting appointments
- Development and active distribution of our product and service portfolio
- Key account management and company representation at events
- Networking with other company departments and partners in order to be able to provide customers with the best possible advice
