Job description

You play a leading role in designing, developing and rolling out solutions for our defense customers. This includes project steps such as:

• Design and implement solutions for our customers based on a combination of Hexagon Geospatial products and project-specific developments in German and English
• Develop client and server-based applications and system integration tools as part of customer projects and extensions to Hexagon Geospatial products
• Installations, Configurations, Commissioning and Fault Analyses at the Customer's Site

Job Requirements

You would like to join our team in all areas of the development process, from requirements analysis, software architecture design, specification, documentation, test case creation and quality assurance.

• Ideally, you have a (technical) university degree in geoinformatics, surveying or comparable education
• You have several years of professional experience in software development with .NET (C#) or JAVA as well as in database development and modelling (Oracle, MS-SQL)
• You contribute your experience with software architectures to the design of solutions for customer projects
• You are interested in automating sensor and geodata processing processes as well as object recognition using AI/deep learning
• Geodata processing expertise with the Hexagon Geospatial and Luciad product families is a plus but not a must-have
• You have very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Your profile is supplemented by your willingness to travel mainly in the greater Bonn area
