

Would you like to help shape the mobility turnaround in the Hameln-Pyrmont district?
We are looking for a traffic planner (m/f/d) for our Office for Economic Promotion/Regional Development/Public Transport and Climate Protection as soon as possible. Vacancies are filled indefinitely and full-time with remuneration in accordance with grade 11 TVöD.
Your essential tasks
- Application and proof of use of funding as well as planning and management of regionalization funds
- Development of technical data and indicators in public transport
- Participation in the preparation of the public transport plan and operational implementation of the strategic goals formulated therein
- Co-designing transport planning for the Hameln-Pyrmont district in cooperation with contracted transport companies, taking into account rail-bound transport
- Planning and monitoring the use of alternative operating modes
- Collaboration on transport and mobility-related tasks of the district
Your competencies
- You have completed a degree, e.g. in the transport sector or geography or spatial planning, economics, or a comparable qualification.
- Alternatively, we also welcome applications from people who have equivalent skills combined with experience in the activities mentioned above or who have particular motivation for the topic of public transport/mobility.
- You want to take initiative and take responsibility for yourself. You are happy to communicate and cooperate with other people and institutions and are confident in your appearance and negotiation skills.
- For you, an organized approach to challenges is just as natural as pursuing creative approaches.
- Meeting appointments even outside regular opening hours is generally no problem for you.
- Ideally, you have already worked in an administration and gained experience there.
Field work requires possession of a class B driving license. The willingness to provide the privately owned vehicle for official purposes is expected. Expenses incurred will be reimbursed under travel expenses law.

Working conditions are governed by the Collective Agreement for the Public Service (TVöD). The additional retirement provision is provided by the Federal and State Pension Institution (VBL).
In total, a full position is available for filling. The position is suitable for part-time work if it can be ensured that an almost full filling is possible overall.
