At Freiburg Regional Council Is a permanent full-time position to be filled as soon as possible in Department 4 - Mobility, Traffic, Roads - in Department 42 - Management and Construction Financing - with a qualified specialist (f/m/d)

Bachelor/ Diploma (FH) Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Management, Geography, or comparable.

Department 42 manages and coordinates projects to maintain and expand the transport infrastructure on federal and state roads in the administrative district of Freiburg. The basis for this is technical requirements from the federal and state governments, as well as the available road construction equipment (around 180 million € per year).

The place of employment is Freiburg.

Your tasks:

• Recording and evaluation of the relevant technical and economic parameters of the traffic infrastructure on state roads (roads, buildings, ancillary facilities, land). Further data processing is carried out using IT (SAP);
• financial management of projects with public partners (municipalities, districts, rail contractors);
• Ongoing support and advice to our project engineers on questions relating to financial statements.
• We reserve the right to change the scope of tasks.

We expect:

• knowledge of project management and project management;
• knowledge in the area of investment accounting or willingness to familiarise yourself;
• Experience and openness in dealing with modern IT systems such as SAP;
• Social and personal competence, open-mindedness and the ability to work in a team;
• Safe use of the German language, both spoken and written.
