Department 31 is responsible for municipal supervision and cadastral matters.
It supervises the cadastral authorities, the publicly appointed surveyors and the expert committees for land values in the administrative district of Arnsberg.
In addition, the Department performs 31 tasks as part of training occupations in geoinformation technology and trains surveying specialists in the area of surveying and supervises the relevant audit matters.
Your tasks
- Decision on inquiries from cadastral authorities, publicly appointed surveyors and surveyors on surveying and cadastral law issues
- Issuance of permits or instructions in individual cases and of a general nature
- cooperation in steering and coordinating district-wide developments,
- Advice to subordinate bodies
- Support in regulatory development
- Various tasks in training young surveyors in training occupations and in career training for surveying administration officials
Your professional profile
Applicants must have at least the following requirements:
- Successful completion of a university degree (Dipl.-Ing. (FH) or Bachelor)
- of surveying

- Either civil service qualification, usually through passing the final examination in accordance with the “Ordinance on Training and Examination for the Career of the Higher Surveying Service in the State of North Rhine-Westphalia”
- Or relevant professional experience
