that Environmental and Consumer Protection Office based in Stadthaus Deutz, addresses a wide range of environmental, nature, animal and consumer protection concerns.

In the Department of Noise Protection, Planning, Prevention and Remediation, we are now looking for an engineer (m/f/d) for noise calculation and noise mapping in accordance with the EU Environmental Directive in conjunction with Sections 47c ff Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) The subject area deals with the preparation of strategic noise maps and the implementation of noise action planning.

YOUR FUTURE TASKS:

They...

• prepare overall urban noise calculations for roads, railways and industrial and commercial facilities, including ports, using the calculation method for environmental noise from sources close to the ground (BUB)
• carry out overall city noise calculations for air traffic noise using the calculation method for the environmental noise of airports (BUF)
• are responsible for preparing noise mapping, including the noise mapping report road, rail, air traffic and industrial and commercial facilities, including ports
• supervise noise reports as part of mapping
• carry out noise calculations in accordance with national calculation methods to prove the effectiveness of individual measures of the noise action plan

YOUR PROFILE:

You have a degree (at least a bachelor's degree or a university of applied sciences diploma) with a focus on digital geodata processing. Alternatively, in addition to a degree, you also have recognized additional education in the area of digital geodata processing.
